West Villages Elementary Flooring Replacement

As part of On Call Architectural Services for the Town of Barnstable Public Schools, TBA was enlisted to replace the floor finishes at West Villages Elementary. The existing flooring consisted of a variety of vinyl sheet, vinyl composite tile, ceramic tile, and carpet, installed intermittently since the school’s original construction. TBA utilized this opportunity to not only replace the worn-out flooring materials but to improve and update the school environment. Through several rounds of iteration, a dynamic floor pattern plan with thoughtful & budget-conscious material choices was developed, to be completed in stages in the coming summer seasons.
