School Facilities Designed to Inspire Learning
Over the past three years, TBA Architects, Inc. has worked with the town of Bedford to design architectural responses to address space needs challenges across the school district. Through thoughtful reorganization of space and expansion of the existing facilities we have created exceptional modern learning environments.
Feasibility Study
This project extended from the interior to the exterior, including parking. Accommodating a growing school population requires thoughtful consideration of that population’s means of travel from buses to parent drivers and faculty parking. TBA worked to provide parking and bus loop options that expanded the site’s capacity and provided a safe and efficient means of travel for students and drivers alike.
Parking & Bus Loop

Phasing
Careful consideration is taken in school construction. TBA works closely with the school to ensure a construction plan that interferes as little as possible with the students’ learning during the school year.
Design
The renovated Davis Elementary School began to take shape on the desks at TBA through thoughtful design work. After a variety of options were considered and discussed with the town of Bedford a final plan was implemented and the details developed.
Finishes
TBA worked to provide finishes that suited the existing flooring while adding to the color story and intrigue of the new construction inside and out.
Stair
In the new addition, TBA was able to add some exciting elements like this stairwell that provide an element of joy to the students’ days at Davis Elementary.
Construction
After three years of devoted work, the Davis Elementary students can take advantage of their school’s new additions and renovations.
