The Lane Elementary project is part of TBA’s collaboration with the Town of Bedford’s efforts to update their public school system.  Our work at this site includes interior renovations to the existing program, new additions, parking and bus loop alterations, as well as landscaping.  After a thorough feasibility analysis, our designers worked with the existing conditions and made accompanying new features that result in a cohesive new design that accommodates the evolving demands of the school system.

In our educational facilities projects, we always aim to design environments that inspire learning. Our clients at Lane Elementary are truly the students. Details like our circulating stair add an element of joy to match the spirit of these clients. Further, the school’s relationship to the natural environment inspired us to emphasize the landscape through windows, skylights, and a landscape plan to match.
