TBA Architects has made a specialization of providing Designer Services to our Public and Private-Sector clients in an On-Going/As-Needed capacity for educational and municipal facilities.

On-Call Architectural Consulting, (House Doctor contracts) require flexibility in design approach and the capacity to respond quickly, as the scope of work and appropriate project approach is determined on a project-by-project basis, and as such, project types and categories of work needed to achieve project goals vary significantly.  TBA’s extensive experience working as House Doctor Architectural Consultant for dozens of Massachusetts municipalities, school districts, and agencies of the Commonwealth has strengthened our ability to respond quickly to our clients’ needs, and deliver practical approaches to planning and implementation of multiple concurrent assessment and construction projects of all types at facilities across operational categories and construction eras.

TBA enjoys the tremendous variety in the types of projects provided by On-Call/As-Needed contracts.   Categories of work have included, comprehensive interior and exterior renovations, certified studies, life-safety and code-related improvements, repair and replacement of all building systems (structural, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, telecommunications, and fire safety), accessibility improvements, energy-efficiency related upgrades, reorganization of existing spaces, building expansions, and interior design.
