TBA Architects, Inc. serves as the On-Call Architectural Consultant for the City of Lawrence Municipal and School Buildings. Our work for the City involves the provision of complete Architectural & Engineering Designer Services for the planning, renovation, and construction administration of capital construction projects in an on-going as-needed capacity. Project types include survey, planning, design, and construction monitoring services on a wide variety of renovation projects including building systems repair and replacement, building envelope renovation and restoration, and construction administration of building remediation and reconstruction.

The TBA Project Team was engaged to provide complete Architectural & Engineering Designer Services for the full system HVAC replacement at the Main Branch Library to meet contemporary standards for public-use facilities. This project was completed December 2017 the with a construction cost of $1,115,400.00; the facility was fully occupied during the Construction Phase.

Further renovation continued as TBA designed and managed the retrofit of the existing elevator, continuing TBA’s ongoing commitment to well designed and accessible public spaces.
